Safe Solution Tutoring is attempting to use this platform to combat multiple facets of the coronavirus pandemic.
Firstly, we want to ensure no child goes unnoticed. We believe every child has the right to a proper education, even if it is an online education. During this pandemic, most schools within the United States have closed to follow social distancing protocol and have implemented distance learning. While this helps in preventing the spread of the disease, it leaves many students without access to a one-on-one conversation with an educator.
With classwork being posted online with little to no supporting lessons, absorbing new information has become harder than ever. While a teacher may be able to answer a few questions, directly addressing the concerns of each student online is a difficult task and most of the time simply is not possible. This leaves students struggling to learn new material, prepare for tests, and learn the skills needed to increase grade levels. Our solution is offering one-on-one personalized online tutoring sessions to address any and all needs of students. We have an array of high-level tutors so no matter the subject, test, or task, a student can rely on one of our tutors to help.
Secondly, we want to support direct coronavirus relief efforts. We do this by donating the proceeds of each tutoring session to the Coronavirus Relief Fund. That means, the more students we tutor and help, the larger impact we can have on this pandemic.
Currently, many workers are being laid off due to the collapse of supply chains that the United States economy relied on for the importation and exportation of products. This has created a declining economic situation, mass panic, and inevitably the lack of goods needed to combat coronavirus.
Due to current economic circumstances, fewer people are able to donate to charitable organizations, hurting our chances of making coronavirus a thing of the past. The average high school tutor earns $40 per hour. At a much lower rate, we are largely volunteering our time to help you make an impact on the coronavirus pandemic while still getting a great service in return. By using our service, you can still have an impact which will be larger than you think.
The Coronavirus Relief Fund is a pool of money led by the GlobalGiving Disaster Recovery Network with a goal of $12,000,000. The fund was created to lessen the effects of COVID-19 by sending doctors and nurses to communities in need, purchasing masks, ventilators, and other supplies for hospitals, delivering essential products to high-risk citizens, and feeding children that rely on school meals. This is where we donate the proceeds from each tutoring session. To learn more about where the money you spend on tutoring is going, please click the button below.
